The Becoming - Matrescence Guidance

$1,111.00

You’re not just having a baby. You’re becoming someone new.

There’s a name for what you’re feeling: matrescence, the identity shift of becoming a mother. It reshapes your body, your relationships, your priorities, and your sense of self, often all at once. It’s one of the biggest transitions of a woman’s life, and most of us are expected to move through it on our own, with no sleep, while everyone asks about the baby.

The Becoming is space for you.

This is for you if:

  • You’re pregnant or in your first year or so postpartum

  • You love your baby and still feel a little lost in who you are now

  • You’re craving reflection, not another to-do list

  • You’re curious about astrology and tarot as tools for self-understanding

  • You want someone in your corner who gets it

How we’ll work together

Opening session: Your Map (90 minutes)
We begin with your natal chart and an intuitive tarot reading focused on this season of your life. I’ll share what comes through for you, and together we’ll name what’s shifting, what you’re ready to release, and who you’re growing into.

Guidance calls: one extended opening call, plus 6 sessions over 3 months
Biweekly calls, built around a mom’s real schedule. This is where the reading becomes real life: working through the identity shifts, relationship changes, boundaries, and big feelings, and finding your footing as this new version of you.

Between sessions
Message me when something comes up. You don’t have to wait two weeks to be heard!

Closing ritual
We’ll end with a simple ritual to honor how far you’ve come, plus your baby’s natal chart, beautifully printed, as a keepsake.

About me

I’m Raegan, a mom of two, writer, and tarot and astrology reader in Austin. I write about motherhood at Common Wonder on Substack, and the thresholds of life, the beginnings and the endings, are what I care about most. When I read for someone, I trust what comes through. Then I help them make sense of it in a way that’s grounded, honest, and useful. Friends have always come to me for advice. This is me making that official.

Investment

The Becoming: 3 months together
$1,111 paid in full, or 3 monthly payments of $385 ($1,155 total).
Founding client rate: I’m welcoming my first 3–5 clients at $777 in exchange for honest feedback.

Not ready for three months? Start with The Threshold.
One focused 60-minute session to bring a single question about this season, and leave with clarity and a next step. $222, and if you continue into The Becoming within 30 days, $111 goes toward your container.

Questions

Do I need to know anything about astrology or tarot?
Not at all. You just need your birth date, time, and place, and a little curiosity.

Is this therapy?
No. This is reflective, spiritual coaching, and it isn’t a substitute for medical or mental health care. If you’re struggling with postpartum depression or anxiety, please reach out to your doctor or Postpartum Support International (postpartum.net). I’m happy to be one layer of support alongside that care.

Can my baby join our calls?
Always. Feeding, rocking, and crying are all welcome here.

Do we meet in person?
Sessions are virtual, so you can join from your couch. Austin locals can request in-person sessions.
