What to Expect at a Tarot & Astrology Party
If you're the one organizing — a bachelorette weekend, a team offsite, a happy hour — you don't need mystique right now. You need to know exactly what you're signing up for. Here's the honest walkthrough.
Before the event
Once you've picked a package and date, you'll get a short agreement covering the details: date, time, location, guest count, and payment terms (typically a deposit to hold your date, balance due before or on the day). If your session includes astrology readings, you'll also get an optional intake form — guests who want a printed natal chart can submit their birth date, time, and location in advance; anyone who skips it can still get a simplified reading on the spot.
That's really it on your end. No elaborate prep required.
Space requirements
Less than you'd think. A living room, a backyard, a private area of a bar or coworking space all work. What's actually needed is a small dedicated spot for readings (a table and two chairs is plenty) and, if your package includes craft-making, enough table space for guests to work comfortably. We handle setup and teardown — load-in is minimal, and we bring the materials.
The shape of a session
Every package follows a similar arc, just scaled differently:
A short welcome and framing — a couple minutes explaining how the session works, so nobody's guessing
The main event — individual mini-readings on rotation, a shared craft-making activity, or both, depending on your package
A closing moment — something that brings the group back together before wrapping
Sessions run anywhere from 60 minutes (The Gathering) to 2 hours (The Altar), and every package has a guest cap built in, so pacing stays realistic instead of rushed.
What guests should expect, emotionally
Approachable, not performative. Nobody's being put on the spot, nobody's being told something alarming, and there's no pressure to "believe" in anything for it to be enjoyable. Think reflective and a little playful — closer to a good conversation than a stage act.
The day of
We arrive with everything needed and set up quietly ahead of the start time. You don't need to manage us once we're there — just point us to the space and let the group gather. We keep things on schedule so the rest of your event (dinner reservations, another activity, whatever's next) isn't thrown off.
After
If photos were part of your agreement, expect a thank-you note and a request for a quick review — that's how a small, structured business like this grows.
